About the Designer

Rekha Ananthanpillai, is the designer and founder of La' Agra. 

After over 10 years in a traditional business career Ananthanpillai launched her namesake brand La' Agra. La' Agra is a women's contemorary brand inspired by her South Asian culture. The brand seeks to embrace the artisanal craftsmanship from South Asia into modern aesthetics. The brand launched in Fall 2022 debuting the inaugural collection, The Pleated Blues. 

Ananthanpillai completed her undergraduate at Elon University and has her MBA from Emory's Goizueta business School.
