There’s been a lot of reflection behind the scenes at La’ Agra.
As I thought about where I wanted the brand to go next, I started with something much more personal:
My own wardrobe. And my culture.
I asked myself—what are the details I’ve always been drawn to?
The answer kept coming back to a few things.
Embroidery.
The kind of intricate detail that makes you stop and look a little closer.
Flowy fabrics.
Pieces that move with you rather than against you.
Brocades and beautiful textiles.
The fabrics that have always been part of La’ Agra’s DNA.
But I also realized something important:
Beautiful fabric isn't enough.
The way a piece is constructed matters just as much.
I wanted the clothes to feel beautiful on the hanger—but even better when they're actually on your body.
I wanted to focus more closely on proportion, fit, construction, and the little details that make a piece feel truly considered.
So I made a big change.
I've moved our development back home to Miami, allowing me to be much closer to the people creating the pieces and more involved in the development process from beginning to end.
Being close means I can focus on the precision.
I can look at the fit.
I can make adjustments.
I can obsess over the details.
And most importantly, I can make sure each piece is being constructed with the care it deserves.
Because as La’ Agra evolves, I don't want to lose the things that made me fall in love with it in the first place.
The embroidery.
The movement.
The textiles.
The connection to my culture.
I'm simply giving them a new expression.
And there's one more change that comes with this evolution...
Our sizing.
As I've worked through the new development process, I've been taking a much closer look at how our pieces fit and how our size chart can serve you better.
Our sizing is changing—and I'll be sharing more about what that means very soon.
This isn't just about making new clothes.
It's about getting closer to what La' Agra was always meant to be.
And I can't wait to show you.
